Orange Car–Where did you come from?
Yale is a speed zone in my area. I slammed on my brakes. Burnt orange sedan, shiny. I noticed its two-toned paint as it sped in front of me. I watched as it weaved through traffic nearly clipping a black car’s fender.
Was there no regard for safety?
Every damn day it’s a different car. Same old story but with the same emotions. Rage, annoyance, impatience, and everyone’s in such a hurry.
A girl must know what she wants and set her boundaries. It’s modern age guru shit.

If you were watching, it would seem I was following her. I wasn’t. That was another example of my own bad luck that day. I was on my way to pick up medicine. And she was going nearby.
Then relief. The hell hound turned a stop before mine. I made my right turn and felt my anger boiling. No way! The bitch. She took her turn then looped around into the lane I was driving. I swerved my car to block her path. How damn arrogant. She drives like she owns this road. We faced off then both conceded, glaring at each other as we drove away.
